CTRL ROOM (also written Ctrlroom or Ctrl Room) is an independent Melbourne web agency. We build websites, online stores, custom tools and the systems that help businesses work better, for clients across Australia.
Who is CTRL ROOM?
We're a three-person studio that combines design, development and practical problem-solving. We like figuring things out and making them work.
Our clients are mostly small and growing Australian businesses: clinics, food businesses, shops, fashion labels and service businesses. Most don't have an IT team. They have a business to run and need the website side handled by people who explain things in plain English.

Meet the team
There are three of us, and we all work on client projects. There are no account managers passing messages along. The person you talk to is one of the people building your site.
Between us we cover the three things most businesses need online:
Design
Layouts, branding and the small details that make a business look as good online as it is in person.
Development
WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce and custom code, plus the integrations that connect it all.
Growth
Search, speed, ads and tracking, so a finished site keeps bringing in enquiries.
How we work and why we price upfront
The usual agency process is a form, a call, a meeting and then a proposal with the number on the last page. It wastes your time and ours. Clear prices mean you can decide quickly, compare honestly and budget without guessing.

You see the price first
Every service in the builder carries its price. You choose what you need and watch the total change.

We check the scope together
Before any work starts, we go through what's included so nothing important is missed or assumed.

The agreed price holds
Once the scope is agreed, that's the number. If you ask for something new, we price it before doing it.
A 40% deposit starts the work and the balance is due when the job is done. Monthly care plans are optional and always shown separately, so you know what's one-off and what's ongoing. See our pricing page for starting prices.

We're based in Melbourne and the work is done here. Our clients are in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Central Coast and regional Victoria, and distance has never been a problem.
